I write fantasy stories that focus on complex magic and detailed, interesting settings. I'm glad you took the time to take a look at my work!
I was born on the 26th of July, 2005 in Ilkeston, England. From a young age, I've always had an interest in reading. It came from my mother, as a child she used to read to me before bed. For a long time, that was the Harry Potter series, we used to go through half a chapter or so every night, and I'd always beg to finish the chapter.
I was about twelve or thirteen when I first started reading what I would describe as 'proper fantasy'. Stuff like A Song of Ice and Fire and the Lord of the Rings. I was hooked instantly, both with individual series and with the genre itself.
I always enjoyed writing in school, but I never felt like there was a career in it for me, not until I got towards the end of my time at university. I studied Computer Science, which I enjoyed, but over the course of my degree, I fell less and less in love with what I once thought I'd spend the rest of my life doing, and I found myself drawn back to fantasy and writing once more.
That was also where my other great fantasy love came in, Dungeons & Dragons. I joined the Tabletop Society in my first year of Uni, and I have played ever since. Worldbuilding became my passion, as did becoming a Dungeon Master. I love telling stories, both on my own and with others, and D&D is an amazing way to express that.
I tried my hand at a few drafts during Uni, but it wasn't until finishing my third year that I decided to sit down, start again, and write something properly. Which brings me to where I am now. It brings me here.
Thank you again for looking into my works, I hope you enjoy them.
